U16 in Cup Final
The Ballylanders AFC U16 played Croom in Elton in an exciting game on Friday 29nd of April. Croom were unbeaten
all year but Bally proved they weren't that far from there standard at all. Bally could have been a goal or 2 up in the first
half hour but Croom scored at the end of the half which was disappointing going in at half time. Croom got another in the
second half and lifted the title.
New Crest
We have just launched our new crest in conjunction with the website. As can be seen it is very similar to the old one but
is now more modern. The castle represents the castle which once stood on the site after which our grounds is named. The mountains
are to represent the views which are can be seen from castle park of the Galtee mountains and of Caraturk Hill

New Lights
In the recent months new flood lighting has been completed in Castle Park on the training pitch.
There is ten poles with two lights on each. They are a great improvement on the previous lights and offer superb facility
for training.
At a cost of 8000 euros to the club, they would like everyone who has contributed to the project in funding and labour,
especially the boys who helped on the day when the poles were erected and wired. Thanks!

Dinner
On Dec 18th the annual Ballylanders AFC dinner for the promoters of the the club was held in Bruff. There was 30 seated
for what was a lovely meal and greatly enjoyed by all. The club would like to offer there thanks again to all that have had
an input to the club in the last year and previous years and wish everyone a happy new year!
